In order to qualify for the $10,000.00 in Personal Injury Protection benefits a doctor must say that you have an “Emergency Medical Condition”, otherwise you are only entitled to $2,500.00 in Personal Injury Protection coverage. But you have to go to a medical provider within the first 14 days of the crash or you do not get any Personal Injury Protection benefits.
