Howell & Thornhill would like to honor all the men and women who have served our country, and those who sadly made the ultimate sacrifice. Among this list of heroes is John “Jack” Flanigan, who hailed from Winter Haven, Florida, and who proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. His F-4B was lost in 1969 over Vietnam, and he was missing in action until 1997, when his remains were later identified. Captain Flanigan was buried in Winter Haven with his widow and three children in attendance. We salute the sacrifice of our veterans!
