Did you know that a jury is not allowed to hear that the at fault driver received a ticket? The police officer cannot testify who he gave a ticket to and he cannot testify who he thinks was at fault for the crash. The theory behind this is that this information is too prejudicial to the at fault driver and that a jury would find him at fault because he received the ticket.
